about Mollie Eliasof
I am a licensed clinical social worker who received my B.S. in Social Work at New York University, where I was honored with the Founders' Day Award. Immediately following, I obtained my M.S.W. at Loyola University Chicago in their Advanced Standing Program. I was provided with a Merit Scholarship and held a Graduate Assistantship position.
I have completed Level I Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, a highly acclaimed research-based approach "to make a relationship last, [help couples] become better friends, learn to manage conflict, and create ways to support each other’s hopes for the future". I use Gottman Method Couples Therapy in my work.
I have a certificate in Bright Beginnings: Early Child Development and Parenting Procresses from Ackerman Institute for the Family. This model helps shape my Becoming Mommy and Mommy and Me groups.
To assist you further on your journey, I use my training in a variety of evidence-based treatments, including CBT, solution focused therapy, and psychodynamic therapy, to best meet your needs. I continue to learn in the field and remain dedicated to the endless pursuit of education in order to bring you the best service.
In addition to maintaining my practice as a clinician, I have continued to pursue my love of movement and the arts, graduating from the Independent Study Program at The Ailey School and obtaining my Comprehensive Certification in Pilates. I often integrate my belief in your overall wellness in my approach.
